Common mistakes
- Bending the knees to make the legs lighter, which turns it into a tuck-up
- Letting the lower back arch hard at the bottom as the legs hover
- Using a hip snap and momentum instead of folding under control
Variations
- Tuck-up with knees bent as the regression
- Alternating single-leg V-up
- Hold a light dumbbell in the hands
