Equipment

Common mistakes

  • Bending the knees to make the legs lighter, which turns it into a tuck-up
  • Letting the lower back arch hard at the bottom as the legs hover
  • Using a hip snap and momentum instead of folding under control

Variations

  • Tuck-up with knees bent as the regression
  • Alternating single-leg V-up
  • Hold a light dumbbell in the hands

Can't do this one? Swap it for

Take care: ABROFIT automatically removes this movement for anyone who has flagged a lower back problem. If that's you, use one of the swaps above and speak to a physio before loading it.
