Start
FinishHow to do it
From a forearm plank with the feet on a towel or socks on a smooth floor, push back through the elbows so the whole body slides a few inches toward the feet, then pull yourself forward again without letting the hips move out of line.

Primary: core · Also works: shoulders, glutes
Equipment

Common mistakes
- Letting the hips pike up as you slide back instead of keeping a rigid line head to heel
- Sliding so far that the lower back arches at the end of the range
- Bending at the knees and shuffling the feet rather than moving the whole body as one piece
Variations
- Slide only two inches and build the range over weeks
- Pause three seconds at the furthest point
- Perform on forearms from the knees
