Landmine Row
Pull · back · intermediate
Start
FinishHow to do it
Wedge one end of a barbell in a corner or landmine sleeve, stand beside the loaded end in a hinged split stance, brace the free hand on your thigh and row the bar to your hip.
Muscles worked
Primary: back · Also works: biceps, core
Equipment
Barbell, Full gym
Common mistakes
- Rotating the torso open with every rep instead of keeping both shoulders square
- Standing too far forward so the bar path hits the leg mid-rep
- Shrugging the bar up rather than rowing the elbow back past the ribs
Variations
- Meadows-style landmine row with a staggered stance
- Two-handed landmine row using a V-handle
