Stand on the middle of a band with both feet and a handle in each hand, then raise the arms out to the sides to shoulder height with elbows slightly bent.

- Letting the arms snap back down, since the band's pull makes the lowering phase the hardest part
- Standing on too much band so you cannot reach shoulder height with clean form
