From a wide push-up position, bend one arm to lower your chest toward that hand while the other arm straightens out to the side, then press back and alternate.

- Letting the straight arm bend, which turns it back into a wide push-up
- Rotating the hips toward the working side instead of staying square
- Only going halfway down on the working arm
