Attach a single handle to a high pulley, pin that elbow against your side, and push straight down to full lockout with the palm facing in, controlling the return.

- Letting the shoulder roll forward and take over from the triceps
- Rotating the torso toward the stack as fatigue builds
- Letting the cable pull the hand higher than a 90-degree elbow, killing tension
